A UDID is short for unique device identifier. UDIDs are given to each iPhone, iPad and iPod device made. A hacker group called AntiSec recently release millions of UDIDs that they claimed to have recieved by hacking into an FBI agents laptop.
AntiSec explains in a lengthy pastbin, along with all the UDIDs, that they used utilized a vulnerability in java to gain access to FBI Supervisor special agent Christopher K. Stangl’s notebook. The UDIDs did contain some sensitive information, such as, names, addresses and cell phone numbers but the hacker group chose to not reveal that information.
