Jailbraking the iPad Possible on Older OSs

There is a lot controversy over whether jailbraking a device is ethical or even legal. Apple has always fought against jailbraking of their devices but there are always people out there that are eagerly awaiting to crack the next OS version for the iPad and iPhone 4.

Fortunately, congress recently passed a bill that makes jailbraking a smartphone or any device for that matter, perfectly legal. It seems as though Washington shares the consumer’s view in that we bought it, we can do whatever we want with it. There is more good news, a service called Jailbrakeme has successfully jailbroke the iPad on versions 3.2.1 or older.

Jailbraking a device allows you to install applications that Apple does not want you to, it also opens up the ability to play with different components of the iPad that were not intended to be touched. TO find out more, head on over to jailbrakeme.
