Matt from mattgemmel.com recently wrote an article on his site about how many simultaneous touch events the ipad can handle. After a friend asked him about this he got to work on a simple application that would demonstrate this. His application proved that the iPad could handle 11 fingers on the screen at once. This suggests that Apple anticipated collaboration on the iPad and that developers would take advantage of that. It’s easy to see how a whiteboard type app would work great!
