Flipboard is a hot new app that launched recently. The iPad app is highly reviewed and praised, it promises to bring a magazine-like user-interface while gather content from various outlets including Facebook and Twitter. Robert Scoble may be to blame for creating so much hype for the launch of Flipboard that the demand was to high for the iPad application’s server to handle.
Flipboard’s answer to the recent crash is a new version of the application that has queue system in which users will wait to connect to their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Flipboard will send out an email alerting users when they have the green light to connect.
